Very exciting news late tonight! Amazon Web Services (AWS) finally offers their new Latency Based Routing (LBR) for Route 53. This feature will give AWS users of the Route 53 DNS service a (long-overdue) ability for scaling out their websites, web applications/web services, and content to multiple AWS regions around the globe with low-latency.
The low-latency DNS routing services offered by Amazon is going to be a game changer for administrators, developers, engineers and architects alike, in enriching the abilities for programming and deploying geographically-aware applications.
